    Capstone Change Project Resources

    In collaboration with their approved course preceptor, students will identify a specific evidence-based topic for the capstone change project proposal. This could include a community or leadership direct clinical practice issue, an organization or leadership quality improvement initiative, or an unmet educational need specific to a patient population or community.

    Students will pull together the capstone NRS 493 Capstone Change Project Resources project components developed in prior topics of this course to create a comprehensive written change project plan. This will include the application of an appropriate change or nursing theory and a plan for evaluating the proposed nursing intervention.

    Present the proposed evidence-based community or leadership change project to an interprofessional audience of leaders and stakeholders. Evaluate the feedback received and write a 250-350 word summary of your presentation.

    NR 351 Week 6

    The use of the assigned template to demonstrate good organization, appropriate resources and correct APA formatting for preparing a scholarly paper. Submit this assignment by Sunday end of Week 6 11:59 p.m. MT. This assignment enables the student to meet the following Course Outcomes (COs).

    Review of federal and California environmental law, and application to natural resource management problems and projects. Intent, purpose and history of NR 351 Week 6 examined; differences between National Environmental Policy Act and California Environmental Quality Act highlighted. Preparation of environmental assessment documents also covered. 3 lectures, 1 laboratory.

    NR 505 Week 2

    The assignments for weeks 2 and 5 cultivate skills in the development of a PICOT statement (week 2) and the critique of evidence from scholarly literature sources (week 5). In addition, students are challenged to integrate their selected area of research or EBP interest with the nursing concern/problem identified in NR 500. The goal of this course is to prepare students to develop an evidence-based NR 505 Week 2 PICOT Worksheet Assignment project proposal.

    For this discussion, students will identify their area of research/EBP interest that they have selected in NR 500 and defend how the area of interest aligns with their MSN specialty track.
